It all started with a comment on Facebook…
A new OwnerRez user was asking for information about a custom website in a Facebook Group. Katrina replied and the response was overwhelming.
Within a week, she had multiple owners paying to consult with her and design a custom Direct Booking site. They were already using OwnerRez as their property management platform and wanted a website that would sync their calendar with major listing sites.
And that was what Katrina had experience doing. She assisted her family with marketing their beach home rental for the past 10 years. She designed websites that used OwnerRez and did exactly what the numerous hosts were asking for. And she had over 20 years of experience helping businesses build their brand and digital presence.
The demand from Vacation Rental Hosts that were looking for an option to start marketing themselves and taking reservations directly was undeniable. It was that quickly that OwnerBooked was born.

Meet Katrina
“Hi! I’m Katrina. I’m a marketing and design professional that is also a Vacation Rental Host. My family has owned and self managed a beach house rental for the last 10 years. I’ve assisted in every step of the process and have seen many changes in this industry’s standards and practices.
As owners, it seems everything these days comes with a fee and they increase often. We realized guests were feeling the same way. For that reason, we were looking for a more professional way to promote and book our property and simplify—if possible eliminate—additional fees. OwnerRez was that solution. It gave us control of every aspect of the booking process and the capability to build a marketing system with seamless integration.
Last year, we sold our beach home. In turn, we purchased another property, which meant I created a new brand and marketing strategy. I built a custom website using the OwnerRez widgets. I designed business cards and signage and a custom manual. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was creating a package of STR necessities that would become the base for OwnerBooked.
Currently, I work for an agency that builds websites for medical practices. I started helping owners with their marketing needs because this is what I enjoy and I knew I had the roadmap. I love seeing a brand come to life and succeed.
